Organic Catholics (the website) was begun on November 22, 2009—Feast of Christ the King, by Stephen and Krystyna Wise. It exists to help explore, live, and share the truth of the Church — in the hope of encouraging authentic worship — to offer “a perfect and acceptable sacrifice in the sight of the holy and undivided Trinity, our most high God.”
“This means that the Church is not an arbitrary or artificially constructed institutional mechanism but a living and organic whole.” Edith Stein
“The Church, as the Mystical Body of Christ, penetrates and embraces us all. The spiritual, mystical dimensions of the Church are much greater than any sociological statistics could ever possibly show.” Vatican II, John Paul II — Crossing the Threshold of Hope
“Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know, we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is here now, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. For the Father also seeks such to worship him. God is spirit, and they who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4: 21-24
Jesus’s revelations to the Samaritan woman are brought into sharper focus with His statement in Matthew regarding His relationship with the Father:
“Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and him to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 11: 27
